I don’t have enough pictures from this day, only reason being that I put my camera down more often and enjoyed the comfort of being with Peter’s Mom and Dad, Anne and Barry. We met them at a huge manor house in the area to tour the gardens and then eat a “picnic” in their newly purchased motor home. Just typing the words “motor home” sounds so lackluster, but let me sure you, it was by far one of my favorite moments of the whole trip. Surrounding the car were more wild deer than I have ever scene at one time in my life. Over cheese, scotch eggs, salad, and sandwiches we talked about pot smoking laws in Colorado, the wedding, and got to know each other a little better. That evening in Crank, Anne cooked a traditional curry meal. It was sweet; not the curry, but the day, the company, and the quiet subtleties that made it so.
