This is a picture of me in my all-time favorite dress. I spend a lot of time collecting flowers, sticks, and tidbits in nature. I’m kind of a nerd. I’m the kind of girl who’d rather spend a Friday night at home cooking and watching Netflix with my man. I go to bed always excited about breakfast and I wake up to a daily yoga practice that I’ve kept up for almost two years. I struggle with anxiety and being an introvert, but I find balance and energy from spending time outdoors. I also find happiness in thrift store shopping, making cute shit for my house, and cooking elaborate meals. If you really want to find the way to my heart though, you’ll talk to me about tiny things, dogs, or you’ll just feed me pizza. Below are a bunch of random facts about me, but if you really want to get to know me, we should probably HANG OUT! I’ll try not to be awkward or ramble and talk too much, but no promises!

DOIN WHAT I DO
I decided to be a wedding photographer because I love a good story. But if we’re being honest, I think weddings can be stressful for couples and there is a lot of pressure to do everything “right.” I’m less into this and I’m more into people being real. This is probably why I connect best with couples who break the rules and be themselves, in life and on their wedding day. I cried the day gay marriage was legalized for everyone and I’ll probably cry at your wedding. (Happy tears!) I’m the photographer who will be a fly on the wall, but also bring you a glass of wine when you need it most. I’m going to be your friend and encourage you to follow your gut. And as much as I love big, elaborate weddings with magazine-worthy details, at the end of the day it’s about you and a story. I’m just there to help you tell it.
I was born and raised in Southern, Oklahoma. In 2009 I graduated from the Rocky Mountain School of Photography with an emphasis in storytelling, lifestyle portraiture, and documentary wedding photography. I now live in Portland Oregon with my amazing partner, Scott, and a lot of plant babies.
